Our story began in 1978 when our founders Dale and Louvain Boettner moved to Grand Forks, ND, and started Custom Aire – a commercial HVAC company that continues to flourish today. Although Custom Aire currently focuses on commercial HVAC services, the Boettner family business offered quality HVAC services for businesses and homeowners for decades, establishing itself as a leading HVAC company in the region.
In 2008, the Boettners branched out to officially form a sister company then known as One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning dedicated to residential heating and cooling services in Grand Forks and the surrounding areas.
Over the years, the company expanded to Fargo, Crookston, and Hillsboro, offering additional services such as indoor air quality, Aeroseal, fireplaces, and plumbing to our customers throughout the Red River Valley.
In recent years we rebranded to Bears Home Solutions to encompass our variety of services and products that help families live comfortable, safe, and healthy lives.
Whether we’re repairing a furnace, fixing a pipe, or installing an air purification system, our goal is always to provide exceptional heating, cooling, and plumbing solutions that fit your unique home best.
